The third installment in the Dusk saga and the 16th game in the Atelier RPG series, Atelier Shallie: Alchemist of the Dusk Sea is one of the most feature-rich and complete titles in the series. With a beautiful anime-inspired style, an atmospheric soundtrack, a moving narrative, and a deep alchemy system with a wealth of possibilities, the game is one of the strongest representations of what the Atelier series has to offer.

The story takes place ten years after Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk and six years after Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky. The main characters, Shallistera and Shallote, are bound together by the threads of fate as they fight to save their hometown, which is facing a severe drought. They put their trust in the powers of alchemy, but their journey is not without danger. Through their experiences and growing friendship, their lives will be changed forever.

In keeping with the series’ focus on choice, players will be able to follow the story through two different protagonists, each with their own skills, narrative, and adventures. The game world has been significantly expanded with larger areas and an even wider variety of resources and materials to collect.

A new system called the “Life Task System” makes it easier to keep track of tasks and objectives. Depending on how the player chooses to play, the game’s progression will change – for example, a combat-focused approach will lead to more combat-related tasks. The world, monsters, and items dynamically adapt, creating a unique gameplay experience. These life tasks are essential, and failure to complete them will have consequences.

Featuring the multiple endings that the series is known for, an unforgettable RPG experience awaits in Atelier Shallie: Alchemist of the Dusk Sea!

Long ago when the world was nothing but a void, the goddesses created Leanverde, the World Tree.

The mighty Earth and the majestic oceans were born of Leanverde's sprout, and the goddesses bestowed upon this world the name of Alsgard.

...At least, that's what the "4 Goddesses Online" MMO is about. Now the real Gamindustri goddesses must login and hack 'n' slash through this game-within-a-game to bring back the creators of Leanverde and defeat the Demon King! With rival beta testers and system glitches galore, what could possibly go wrong?

• 4 Person Dungeon Raids - You'll never go it alone in the dungeons when you've got 3 other party members helping exterminate dungeon fodder in this hack 'n' slash adventure! Choose the one you control whenever you want!

• You CAN Cast that Here - Be prepped for any situation when you can map multiple skills to each face button, and max out your meter to unleash a flashy "Awakening Skill" that will devastate those who cross you!
• +10 to Fashion - Show off tons of cosmetic gear that can be resized, rotated, and placed anywhere! Ever seen a mustachioed fairy pirate DJ? Now you can!

• Nep_Main Joined your Party - Play online with up to three other people for extra loot and harder enemies, plus use the in-game chat feature to really make it feel like an MMO! (It's not.)

Players choose one favorite fairytale character with whom they will try and save a fantasy world from certain doom. Luckily many different weapons lay around in this fairytale world, which players can use to shoot and carve up enemies… and this is where the fun begins! Cute fairytale characters will fight each other until nothing else remains than a big puddle of blood!

Foes are sliced and diced in real-time, thanks to Playlogic’s in-house “Dynamic Slicing” technology. Instead of using preset animations, players have the ability to slice up an enemy in any way they like by using the analog stick. Apart from this “cutting” edge technology, the game will also use the tested powers of the Unreal 3 engine.

• Fantastically designed fairytale world
• Real-Time Dynamic Slicing
• Meet all your favorite fairytale characters
• Over the top slapstick gore-fest
• Platform action with light puzzle elements
• Work together (or not) in co-op play!
