Switch

LISA: Definitive Edition is the complete LISA experience, combining the original story-driven RPG LISA: The Painful and its sequel LISA: The Joyful.

LISA: The Painful - Definitive Edition is the newly updated version of the original quirky side-scrolling RPG, set in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Olathe. Beneath the charming and humorous exterior lies a world filled with disgust and moral decay. Players are forced to make choices that permanently affect the gameplay. You must make sacrifices to keep your party members alive, whether by taking beatings, losing limbs, or enduring other inhuman torments. In this world, you’ll learn that selfishness and ruthlessness are the only ways to survive.

LISA: The Joyful - Definitive Edition brings the epic series to a close. You play as a girl born into Olathe after a mysterious event known as the White Flash, which seemingly left the world populated only by men — except for her. You’ll wear masks to conceal your identity, embark on quests for revenge against those who have wronged you, uncover the strange origins of Olathe, and face tough, game-altering decisions along the way.

The LISA [Decade Of Joy Collection] includes the base game, stickers, a digital soundtrack, Brad & Buddy golden pins with a diorama, trading cards, a Terry Hintz print, and a cloth painting.

Throughout the game, you will make ruthless choices that permanently affect towns, characters, and lives. There are over 100 unique character battles, and you can recruit up to 30 party members across towns and camps. The world of Olathe hides countless secrets waiting to be discovered. Collect masks to conceal your identity, defeat the warlords of Olathe and harness their abilities for your own use. Explore new areas and face off against unique enemies while uncovering the dark secrets of Joy.

The game features HD graphics and an updated user interface. It supports next-gen features such as Nintendo Switch HD Rumble, PlayStation DualSense haptics, light bar integration, adaptive triggers, and speaker audio through DualShock 4/DualSense controllers. Enjoy 120 FPS on PC and next-gen consoles, encounter new enemies and bosses, experience new stories with multiple endings, and listen to over 20 new songs through the music player. The Definitive Edition also offers a Painless (story) mode, new border art overlays, pixel-perfect integer scaling, and a wealth of hidden surprises.
