Multiport USB-C 10 Gbps hub AXAGON HMC-12GM2 GEN2COMBO 12‑in‑1 expands your laptop, desktop computer or phone with eleven ports and an external box for M.2 drives.

You can easily and quickly connect up to two monitors, four USB devices, a Gigabit Ethernet network, headphones, an SD card reader, and an NVMe or SATA M.2 SSD to your computer via the reversible USB-C connector. You also have the possibility to supply your laptop with power simultaneously using Power Delivery technology. The USB-C hub provides a simple and compact 12‑in‑1 docking station for notebooks such as MacBook Air or Pro.

The USB hub offers three USB outputs with standard USB-A connectors, two at 5 Gbps and one at 10 Gbps for more demanding devices. It also provides a USB-C 10 Gbps data port. The hub can handle permanent connection of two external drives simultaneously. Thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, the transfer speed is up to 10 Gbps.

The second USB-C connector is reserved exclusively for powering and simultaneous charging of laptops using Power Delivery 3.0 technology, with a power of up to 100 W. Connect a suitable USB-C Power Delivery charger to the hub and attach the hub to a laptop that supports Power Delivery. This saves one USB-C port.

HDMI and DisplayPort outputs deliver high-quality video. Used alone or simultaneously, the ports support resolutions up to 4K/60 Hz Ultra HD and multi-channel audio transmission. High refresh rates at popular gaming resolutions such as 2K/144 Hz or FullHD/240 Hz are also supported. Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range) support, you can enjoy a significantly expanded range of colours and contrast. For video outputs to function correctly, the laptop must have a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) support or a Thunderbolt 3 port or higher.

You can connect an NVMe or SATA M.2 SSD drive via the built-in slot at the back. The multiport hub thus becomes an external drive. M.2 cards can be single- or double-sided up to 22 × 80 mm. The external M.2 box has no capacity limitations and supports modern functions such as TRIM, UASP and allows reading S.M.A.R.T. status information from the drive.

The Gigabit network card extends your computer with a fast and stable network connection, adds a missing RJ-45 connector or an additional network interface. The card reader supports all SD and microSD card versions, including SDXC and microSDXC, up to 2 TB. The high-speed USB interface allows you to maximise the performance of modern memory cards. The card reader allows simultaneous handling of cards in both slots and direct copying between them.

The elegant aluminium housing ensures mechanical strength and passive cooling. Active cooling is provided by a silent built-in fan, cooling both the M.2 drive and the hub itself. The finely textured surface resists fingerprints. The port replicator is ideal for laptops with limited USB, memory or video outputs. The 50 cm USB-C cable is detachable and can be replaced with a longer cable if necessary.

You can use existing USB peripherals without purchasing new ones. Thanks to Plug and Play and Hot Plug functions, connecting the hub is simple without complex installation, and peripherals can be attached or removed while the computer is running. The hub can also connect to phones with a USB-C port. For example, you can attach a flash drive, keyboard, mouse, monitor, TV or projector to a phone.
