POLE POD EX - Multifunctional set consisting of: monopod/tripod/head and bag.
The Pole Pod EX is a set consisting of a monopod, a multi-way tilting head, a table tripod, and a carrying bag from the EX series.
The key feature is that the table tripod can be connected to the monopod and thus stand independently.
This results in the following possible uses:
- Freestanding monopod with head and tripod attached
- Table tripod with head
- Monopod with head
The maximum working height is 187 cm, while the entire set weighs only 800 g. A maximum load of approximately 1.5 kg is ideal for compact cameras and mirrorless systems.
The Pole Pod EX has two leg sections, and the legs can be spread apart for added stability. The 4-section monopod can be fitted with an interchangeable non-slip rubber grip and is very comfortable to hold thanks to its neoprene handle. Both tripods feature ergonomically shaped clamps to secure the legs. The included PHD 32Q multi-way head has a quick-release plate (QB32) and can be tilted using the handle. A second adjustment screw allows switching between portrait and landscape orientation, and a third screw locks the panorama plane. The head can be mounted on both the tripod and the monopod. The system is also ideally suited for full-sphere cameras such as the RICOH THETA S.
