Wireless recording for up to nine hours when using the ECM-W2BT with a camera that supports power supply via the Multi Interface Shoe. With compatible cameras, the microphone unit supports nine hours of use and the receiver unit lasts for over nine hours. The microphone can be easily expanded via the 3.5mm stereo mini jack on the transmitter to provide a clearer, more realistic audio track. You can record pure stereo sound to make your vlogging more flexible and even more impressive when you pair the ECM-LV1 lavalier microphone (sold separately) with the transmitter.

Convenient mixed MIX mode for two-person recording

The ECM-W2BT can be easily used to record the voices of two people, the camera operator and the subject at the same time. With microphones built into both the transmitter and receiver unit, the ECM-W2BT is perfect for quick one-person recording. The sound sources can be mixed and recorded together using the MIX mode.

Suitable for multi-person recording

Use the included plug protection holder as a microphone stand by placing it in a central position. The microphone can pick up sound from all parties, even when recording groups of people.

Compact lightweight design for superior mobility

The ECM-W2BT has a compact size that is perfect for outdoor recording. The microphone unit (transmitter) itself weighs only 27 grams, while the receiver weighs 28 grams, making them easy to handle during recording.

Compatible with a wide range of devices

A wide range of cameras and other devices can be connected to the receiver section of the ECM-W2BT. Devices such as PCs and digital voice recorders that support audio input but do not have a Multi Interface Shoe can be connected via the 3.5mm stereo mini jack on the receiver section.

The combination of the ECM-LV1 and ECM-W2BT is a great way to take advantage of what the ECM-W2BT can do. The super compact ECM-LV1 can be easily and discreetly attached to clothing. It provides stereo sound at close range, which is then transmitted wirelessly over the long range offered by the ECM-W2BT.

Protection against recording errors

To avoid accidental interruptions during audio recording, the ECM-W2BT is equipped with indicators that confirm that everything is working properly. The LINK indicator shows the status of transmission between the microphone and receiver, and the POWER indicator warns when the remaining battery charge is getting low.

With the ECM-W2BT, you don’t have to worry about noise, cable clutter or accidental disconnection. The convenient audio and power interface provided by a Multi Interface Shoe lets you enjoy the benefits of a cord-free setup. You can also take advantage of improved sound quality by using the Digital Audio Interface (available on compatible cameras), ensuring perfect digital sound quality.

Easy switching between audio recording modes

A single button on the receiver lets you easily select the recording mode needed for your recording. There are three recording modes to choose from: microphone-only recording, receiver-only recording, or a mix of both microphone and receiver.

Plug protection holder designed for portability

The ECM-W2BT comes with a plug protection holder, allowing the receiver and microphone to be compactly combined for easy portability. The plug protection holder can also be used as a microphone stand. This allows you to position the microphone stably when using it as a receiver and microphone combined as a unit.
