AXAGON USB-C 20 Gbps Armored Box for NVMe M.2 SSD

Fast external AXAGON EEM2-20G ARMORED box with USB 20 Gbit/s interface for M.2 NVMe SSDs. The double-sided USB-C connector on the box enables a reliable connection. In the package you will find a USB-C to USB-C cable to connect the box to your computer.

Thanks to the USB 20 Gbit/s interface, the transmission rate is up to 20 Gbit/s. To take full advantage of the speed of the box, the controller of the connected device must be compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 2x2. These controllers are typically used in gaming laptops and modern desktop computers. The external M.2 box also supports modern features such as UASP, TRIM and allows reading S.M.A.R.T. disk status monitoring information. Standby support when idle.

The box supports four different M.2 SSD lengths: 30 mm, 42 mm, 60 mm, and 80 mm. Drives can be single- or double-sided. The box does not limit the capacity of inserted SSDs. Opening the box with only one screw makes mounting and dismounting the M.2 SSD quick and easy, expanding the use cases, e.g., for data migration or testing.

Aluminium body and thermal conductive pad provide very good cooling for the M.2 SSD. Side vents ensure sufficient air circulation, extending the service life and preventing Thermal Throttling. The silicone sleeve protects against shocks, prevents sliding, and provides a comfortable grip. The outer metal housing is black with an elegant finish that prevents fingerprints.
