Daler-Rowney Georgian Oil Retouching Varnish 300 ml is a removable varnish leaving a low gloss finish when apply in a thin coat. It is perfect to protect paintings and to intensify their colours. It dries hard and clear in just a few hours and can be removed with turpentine or white spirits. Instructions of use: apply a thin layer of Georgian Oil Varnishes on top of your paintings when dry. Use with a clean brush. By their very nature, oil paints are incompatible with water and therefore need specific mediums, diluents and varnishes to be used, protected and cleaned to perfection.
